Program description

The Blackbird Detailing messaging program sends service-related text messages to customers and members: appointment reminders and confirmations, appointment action links, service status updates (e.g. technician on the way, vehicle ready), estimate/payment links where applicable, and membership or service updates. This is a customer-care program, not a promotional blast list.

How you opt in

You opt in only by checking a separate, optional SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default) on our website application form at blackbirdos.app/apply. The full disclosure appears at the checkbox, checking it is never required to submit the form or to receive service, and we do not offer keyword (e.g. START/JOIN) opt-in. Your consent record — timestamp, disclosure version, and source page — is stored when you opt in.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity — typically a few messages around each scheduled appointment, plus occasional membership/service updates.

Opt out (STOP)

Text STOP to cancel at any time. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Opting out of SMS does not affect your service — we'll use email or phone instead.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Carrier disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier network availability; we cannot guarantee that any message is delivered or read.

Privacy

How we handle your phone number and consent — including that opt-in data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing — is described in our SMS Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms as the program evolves; the latest version will always be at this page with an updated date.
